HI, MCKENZIE HERE!
Having graduated with a degree in Interior Architecture from UNC Greensboro, and studied a semester of Architecture at the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, Scotland, I feel my educational experience challenges traditional interior design programs. In addition to interior design and decorating, I am well-versed in architectural, product, and graphic design, and have an extensive knowledge of relative programs. I have worked in the furniture and staging industry, staying at the forefront of trends throughout my educational and professional experience.
While I have retail and administrative experience, my design resume includes student interning with SAS Instatures’ Art and Science department, and Universal Furniture’s showroom design and market sales team. I have spent the past year working as a contract stylist at Builders Concierge, a locally-based national staging firm, and I am ready to branch out and expand my knowledge and skill set.
I have a love for craft and design and hope to continue the pursuit of innovative and inspiring design and architecture. I am an avid and quick learner and have an aptness for creative exploration. I hope to continue perusing new forms of design and art going forward.
